How to setup a windows profile for a user. This commonly needs to be done if a user is moved from one computer to another.

First step is to create a profile for the user on the computer.

Username is typically first initial and last name for example if the employees name is John Doe the username would be:

j.doe

Password is the employee’s standard password.

Setup the profile

Next we need to login to their profile and set it up.

Install Firefox

Install firefox and log the user into their Firefox sync account.

Install Flameshot

Open up cmd.exe in windows (this is a text terminal).

Enter the command:

winget install flameshot

Configure Printers

Set preferences for Admin 4570 (Labels) and the Admin 4570 (Invoices) printers
